International shipping connects a local booking to export processing, line-haul transport, customs, destination partners and final delivery. ARIZONAH coordinates eligible shipments through approved routes and partners while keeping documents, payment responsibilities and tracking milestones connected to one shipment record.
Requirements vary, but a shipment may need:
| Document | Purpose | Prepared by |
|---|---|---|
| Commercial or pro forma invoice | Describes the goods, quantity, value, currency, seller and buyer or sender and recipient. | Sender or business exporter |
| Packing list | Shows package count, contents, weights and dimensions. | Sender |
| Identity or company records | Supports KYC, exporter/importer identification and customs processing. | Sender and recipient |
| Country-of-origin evidence | Supports origin declarations, trade rules or preferential treatment where applicable. | Manufacturer, exporter or authorized issuer |
| Permit, licence or certificate | Required for controlled products such as food, medicines, plants, chemicals or regulated equipment. | Relevant licensed party |
| Transport document | Provides the airway bill, bill of lading or partner tracking reference. | Carrier or freight partner |
Use clear descriptions that identify what the goods are, what they are made of, their intended use and quantity. Avoid vague descriptions such as “gift,” “sample,” “parts” or “personal effects” without detail. Values should be realistic and consistent across the booking, invoice, payment evidence and customs declaration. Customs may request tariff classification, proof of purchase or further product information.
Import duty, VAT, levies, brokerage, storage or inspection charges may apply at destination. The booking must state whether the sender, recipient or another party is expected to pay. A transport quote does not automatically include government charges unless expressly listed. Customs authorities—not ARIZONAH—make final assessment and release decisions.
International rules can be stricter than local delivery rules. Batteries, aerosols, perfumes, chemicals, medicines, food, plants, animal products, alcohol, tobacco, high-value goods and dual-use equipment may require prior approval, specialist packaging or permits. Air transport dangerous-goods rules may prohibit an item that could move by road or sea. The current official rules at origin, transit and destination always take priority.
ARIZONAH normalizes partner events into customer-friendly milestones. You may see export processing, departed origin, in transit, customs review, customs released, destination hub, out for delivery and delivered. Some partners update in batches, so the physical movement may occur before a new event appears.
Customs may request a corrected invoice, identity document, proof of payment, permit, product specification or duty payment. Respond through the authorized support channel and reference the tracking number. Delayed responses can lead to storage, return, seizure or abandonment under applicable rules. ARIZONAH cannot instruct a customs authority to release non-compliant goods.
International estimates include transport planning but cannot guarantee customs-clearance time. Peak seasons, flight or vessel schedules, border controls, inspections, remote-area delivery and recipient availability may extend the estimate. Time-sensitive shipments should be approved before booking and should include a realistic contingency.
Insurance may be offered for eligible shipments subject to value, contents, route, packaging and provider terms. Keep invoices, serial numbers, valuation evidence and condition photos. Report visible damage or missing contents promptly and preserve packaging for investigation. Compensation, if any, depends on the applicable policy, evidence and legal limits.
Business customers can request standardized product descriptions, document templates, pickup schedules, consolidated billing, API shipment creation, webhook tracking and account-level reporting. High-volume or regulated lanes may require onboarding, compliance review and a written service schedule.
Prepare the route, package details and available documents, then contact ARIZONAH support or begin a booking enquiry. The operations team will confirm eligibility, expected documents, available transport options and the next step before collection.
