Safety and legal requirements determine what ARIZONAH™ can accept. This Policy applies to local, inter-city and international shipments and may be supplemented by carrier, airline, customs, insurance or destination-country rules.
1. Prohibited items
- Illegal goods, stolen property, counterfeit goods or items intended to facilitate crime.
- Explosives, detonators, fireworks, ammunition, unauthorized weapons or weapon components.
- Unlawful narcotics, controlled substances or toxic materials.
- Human remains, body parts or biological materials without lawful specialist arrangements.
- Live animals unless expressly accepted under a dedicated service.
- Cash, bearer instruments or negotiable securities unless a written specialist service applies.
- Any item prohibited by applicable law, customs, sanctions or the receiving jurisdiction.
2. Restricted items requiring prior approval
- Lithium batteries, battery-powered equipment and other dangerous goods.
- Medicines, medical devices, diagnostic samples and temperature-controlled goods.
- Alcohol, tobacco, chemicals, aerosols, perfumes, paints, fuels and pressurized containers.
- Perishable food, plants, seeds, animal products and agricultural materials.
- High-value electronics, jewellery, artwork, precious metals and collectibles.
- Government documents, identity documents, SIM cards, financial cards or sensitive records.
- Oversized, unusually heavy, fragile or machinery items requiring special equipment.
3. Customer declaration
Descriptions must be specific and truthful. “Gift,” “sample,” “parts” or “personal effects” is insufficient where the actual goods are not identified. The customer is responsible for permits, licences, invoices, product information and regulatory approvals.
4. Inspection and screening
ARIZONAH or an authorized partner may request photographs, documents, opening for inspection, repackaging or additional declarations. Refusal may result in rejection, hold, return, reporting to authorities or other lawful action.
5. Dangerous goods and batteries
Dangerous goods may require specialist packaging, marks, labels, documentation and trained handling. Air transport requirements can differ from road transport. Never conceal a battery or hazardous component inside a general-goods description.
6. Consequences of non-disclosure
The customer may be responsible for losses, fines, storage, return, disposal, cleanup, injury or third-party claims caused by prohibited goods, false statements or non-compliant packaging, subject to applicable law.
